Rustikt Sensommarbröllop Med Utsikt Över Bergen
För brudparet Jessica och Steve var det viktigt att deras kärlek för naturen fanns med på deras stora dag, så därför valde de att slå till med ett rustikt utomhusbröllop bland bergen. Det var sensommar och den vackra fjällmiljön stod i full blom dagen då paret sa ja till varandra. Här nedan ska vi få ta del av deras dag genom ord från bruden Jessica och bilder från fotografen Samantha.
Bildspråket i dessa foton från Samantha, som står bakom Ernst & Co., är otroligt vackert och passande till känslan av bröllopet. Man kan verkligen se att hon kan sin sak och att brudparet har hittat precis rätt i sökandet av en fotograf. Att hitta rätt fotograf för den stil och känsla ni är ute efter i era bilder är minst lika viktig som att fotografen är kunnig inom sitt område.
Så träffades Jessica & Steve
Jessica: We always joke that we have two different stories of how we “first” met. One being at my brothers going away bonfire when he was leaving for the marines. We found out that we grew up in the same town, and now went to the same college. We talked about the ups and downs of college but went our separate ways that night, both having a secret crush. Fast forward 5 months, we ran into each other at a bar in our college town and joked about sending my brother a picture of the two of us together, missing him. We exchanged numbers and grabbed some pizza after leaving the bar, and (as they say), the rest is history!! Our first official date was a hike at a park in our hometown which is where he proposed to me 5 years later as the sun was setting, with our dog frolicking around in the background. It was a picture perfect proposal that I tear up thinking about to this day.

Jessica: When making my appointment with the bridal shop, I had a vision in my head of what I thought I would be walking down the aisle in. It was an a-line, with lace on top and a higher neck line, with a simple bottom. When I started trying dresses on, I wanted to make sure to try on all different styles, and when I put my dress on, I automatically lost my words. It wasn’t even close to what I was envisioning but was it was THE perfect dress for me. The dress was vintage lace over a fitted silhouette and v-neckline with wide lace straps. The back of the dress was hands-down my favorite part. It was delicate and beautiful with all the lace and buttons from head to (almost) toe. I had heard about the stories where girls “just knew” when they put on their dress and my experience was no different. The bridesmaids wore all different styles of dresses, but in the same color, burgundy.
Jessica: For the men, we knew we wanted navy suits to compliment the bridesmaids burgundy gowns. We also wanted Steve, my husband, to stand out, so we decided on the groom wearing a navy suit with burgundy necktie, and the groomsmen wearing navy dress pants with a white shirt, navy suspenders and a burgundy bow tie. The whole look was rustic, yet chic and beautiful. It was perfect for my vision and the theme.

Jessica: We are very outdoorsy people and wanted to incorporate indoors and outdoors in our big day. Our venue (Wrens Roost Barn) and our rustic theme helped us achieve just that. We incorporated burgundy, mauve and light pink colors into the centerpieces, florals and decor. We had a beautiful day to have our ceremony and say our vows overlooking the beautiful hills/valley of Naples. Then, we were able to sit down for dinner inside a gorgeous barn with our closest friends and family. We ended the evening dancing, laughing and enjoying our time with our family and friends. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding.

Jessica: Our centerpieces were DIY painted wine bottles with rented wooden flowers inside the bottles. We also had clear wine bottles with twinkle lights inside. Throughout the venue were terrariums of all sizes with more twinkle lights. We had multiple wooden signs made by a friend for the bar menu, seating chart, and wedding hashtag. Our dessert station was set up on pallet wood crates and galvanized metal cake stands to incorporate the rustic theme.
