Moody Elopement Med Svart Brudklänning

I juli 2021 bjöd Samantha och Alexander sina närmsta vänner till ett moody elopement i öknen. Brudparet hade en vision om att anordna ett bröllop med en spooky look där deras mörka kläder skulle skapa starka kontraster till naturens varma, somriga look. Moody bröllop är ett tema vi är vana att se på hösten, men som funkar precis lika bra under de varma månaderna också.

Fotografen från Feel and Focus Photography tar med oss på ett intimt och avslappnat elopement, samtidigt som vi får läsa om brudens egna tankar från bröllopet.

Alex and I met almost two years ago. We fell in love almost instantly. We lived about a hour away from each other and honestly we couldn’t stay away from each other so I moved down to stay with him and our two dogs Bentley (a Rottweiler) and Koda (a French bulldog). Now fast forward to this year we are almost 9 months pregnant with a beautiful blessing of a baby girl and couldn’t be more in love.

Our vision was “till death” so like a spooky summer vibe. Warm tones contrasting with our dark outfits. Our wedding colors were black, blood red, and plum with small hints of white. I got my dress for $50 bucks at Macy’s (not typically my favorite place to shop but I figured might as well try) while being extremely pregnant I thought it would be a lot harder to find something that fit but they had lots of black dresses to choose from. My veil was white with black lace trim It was from an Etsy shop I got the longest option to enhance the length of my dress. I dressed the dress up with my great grandmothers pearls and the “Devon heart” Doc Martens.

Alex got his suit from men’s wear house. His coat was silk and matte paisley with a white shirt to match my white veil and he tied it all together with a blood red bow tie and pocket handkerchief.
