Romantiskt Höstbröllop Utomhus i November
Marisa och Brock bjöd in sina gäster till ett höstigt novemberbröllop med vigsel utomhus, följt av en bröllopsfest i en rustik lada. Bruden själv beskriver sitt bröllop som ett höstbröllop med romantisk känsla i kalla toner. När hon och Brock planerade inför dagen hade de en vision om ett bröllop där mörka toner av rött möter grönska i romantisk stil. De strävade också efter att få en bröllopsdag som kändes enkel och lättsam, samtidigt som de ville hitta de rätta dekorationerna som satte deras egen prägel på platsen.
Med sig under dagen hade de fotografen William Avery. Tillsammans med dessa bilder och ett par ord från bruden Marisa spanar vi nu in detta vackra höstbröllop.
Marisa: We are high school sweethearts! My freshman year of high school was when we started dating and have been together ever since. He’s definitely my best friend. The proposal was super special. He surprised me by taking me to the biltmore in Asheville for my birthday and after touring the whole mansion he took me to this little romantic bridge that overlooks the house and the land, and popped the question there. It was amazing and I was in so much shock. Loved every minute of it!
Marisa: I’d say the theme of our wedding was definitely going more towards a romantic style while incoporating cool toned colors as well as a lot of greenery to give it a very whimsical feeling. We wanted to involve the natural wood coming from the venues barn as a part of decoration since it gave off a very warm and inviting feeling, which is what we were going for in our theme as well.
The bridesmaids dresses were a cool tone dusty blue with deep reds and burgundy’s in the bouquets. The groomsmen wore a charcoal suit with the same dusty blue tie to tie into the bridesmaids dresses.
Marisa: As far as tradition, we decided to make our own. Both of our parents didn’t really have a wedding so we wanted do something of our own while making it feel special as well. We did a hand washing ceremony where most have heard of the “feet washing”, it’s basically same thing in a sense of biblical belief but the hand washing just resembled us a little bit more. We both are hard workers, we both have sinned, and this was a way of washing that away and becoming clean with ourselves as we embark on this new journey.
Marisa: The floral arrangements were probably my most favorite part of designing this wedding. I wanted to incorporate a good amount of greenery while still having pops of color in there, as well being the burgundy reds and other deep reds to compliment the bridesmaids dresses. My bouquet was larger, but not too large to hide my dress, as that is also my favorite part of my day as well. It definitely had more whites in it to resemble a more traditional bridal look while still having a good amount of reds too.
The ceremony spot I kept it more on the simple side as far as the isle and rows of chairs go. I kinda wanted the bouquets from the bridesmaids as well as the groomsmen’s boutineers to do the talking. I also wanted the altar to be very floral. I love the romantic look of fresh flowers and greenery above the head where the bride and groom stand. I had my florist create a beautiful altar arrangement that outlined the whole top of the altar as well as going down the left side. It was beautiful and I didn’t throw the arrangement away for a good month and a half after the wedding. I couldn’t do it!
Så fint brudpar! Vi är så glada att de fick precis det bröllop de ville ha. Hur mycket eller lite bröllopstraditioner ni vill ha med på er dag är upp till er. Försök att inte lyssna på vad andra vill och planera ert bröllop precis så som ni själva vill.
Marisa: So the setting of the venue is very southern like, cute barn with a cute yard area for the ceremony. The ceremony, I wanted to keep natural looking while also using the floral arrangements to set the mood and aesthetic. I wanted to incorportate the natural wood coming from the barn to the outside as well, so I went with the wood foldable chairs and i found this amazing old church doors that I set up at the top of the isle for when I, as well as the wedding party, walk down.
Marisa: For the reception I kept it classy while still keeping it more on the romantic side, too. I used gold charger plates under the white gold rimmed dinner plates for each place setting, with gold silverware to match the dinner plates. Under each plate I wanted to incorporate the charcoal color from the groomsmen’s suits, so I used charcoal gray napkins draped over the gold charger plates. Nice touch.
I also wanted to get around having to do menus on each place setting as well as sending out each individual thank you cards to every guest so I created a thank you card as well as an introduction to our wedding party. The guest loved it, we put little notes from my husband and I on the front addressing each guest how thankful and blessed we were to have them apart of our day.
