Vi förflyttar oss till vårt grannland Danmark och dagen då Lise och Jan gifte sig med varandra. De valde att ha ett traditionellt kyrkbröllop med rustika influenser i både vigsel och fest. Ett mycket vacker bröllop på den danska landsbygden, förevigat av fotografen Martin Friedel. Vi låter paret Lise och Jan få berätta allt om sin stora dag!

SÅ möttes paret

Lise: We met at a Danish online dating site almost 8 years ago. Jan proposed to me after a nice Christmas party with the family. Jan did not kneel but sat next to me when he asked.

Lise: It was a traditional Danish ceremony were we sang songs from the hymnbook, heard bibel texts and the priest told something personal from our life together, both from the past and from our life with our two kids.

Bröllopstemat

Our theme was inspired by the danish country side in the summer. With corn fields and old barns. Colors throughout the wedding were green and purple for both invites and table setting.

Klädsel och styling

Lise: I went for a A-line (not to big) dress with a lot of lace that highlighted the body. At the hunt for the perfect dress, I found out that this was not the right choice. The dress I chose was still an A-Line, but slightly less form fitting. Whilst waiting for my dress, I had doubts and ended up changing the dress 1,5 months before the weeding. From the beginning I had the idea of a natural look without too much make up and hair styling. That why my normal hairdresser was the obvious choice.

Martin did catch all the important moments at our wedding without us knowing he actually stood right next to us. Looking back on the pictures he has managed to get the same feeling as we had the day of our wedding. His way of guiding us has really got the best out of both us in the pictures. At the same time it felt so natural kissing each other in front of a camera. His spontaneous ideas really made the perfect pictures. Also the try shooting were he took pictures in different locations and scenes made us relax even more on the actual day. He is a fun guy in a professional way, and at no point he made us feel uncomfortable.

We were searching for a long time to find the perfect location for our wedding. We knew from the beginning which church, but we had no idea about the venue. We had many names on our guest list (who came from different parts of the country), so it was important for us, that there were plenty of possibilities to stay overnight. However, we were not willing to compromise the style of the venue, as there was a very consistent red thread to our wedding - a bit rural and rustic. It was therefore an easy choice when we found Ølgård. The exposed beams, the perfect rural setting with fields all around as well as the many sleeping accommodations fit perfectly. It was made for our wedding.

Flowers matched the theme of countryside and old barn, with purple and green colors. We agreed quickly that lees is more, therefore Lise chose that we should have to small flower decoration on the tables.

The ceremony at the church, the mood at our party, all the smiling guests, the lovely band, the good food, Joy and happiness. But most of all the we can't point out a single thing that did not live up to our expectations.

tips till er som planerar bröllop just nu

Relax, enjoy the day. Don't freak out if somethings goes wrong but simply take it with a smile. Look at each other as mush as possible the whole day. And take it slow, because the day is over with in a blink of an eye.
