I first met Jenny & Blake (The Joeckel’s) this past fall. They booked a family mini session for me and showed up looking like they had walked out of an Eddie Bauer Ad with their twin toddlers in matching yellow pants and navy sweaters. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when Jenny entered and won another mini session. I had offered another family session but she insisted this time it had to be just her in the Hubby, not only to celebrate Valentines Day but also their upcoming seven year anniversary!

They showed up (again) styled perfectly – boho indie – and ready to have some time to themselves. When I was planning the session with Jenny, she had mentioned how they had grown up by a lake, so we decided to incorporate that into the session and shot near the banks of Falls Lake. These two are so comfortable in front of the camera, I barely had to instruct them, they are 100% #couplesgoals – they still have that “newly wed” vibe almost ten years into their relationship.
